Yogyakarta continued heavy rain, and of course has resulted in rising water in several rivers, including the Kali Code. Of course this makes anxious and concerned citizens of Yogyakarta, which is currently being stricken from Mount Merapi.
However, residents seem to have been getting ready for the worst conditions. They have created an artificial embankment using a sand-sand that is inserted into the sack.
Heavy rains in Yogyakarta also cause standing water in some places, like in front Ambarukmo Plaza, Jl Adisutjipto, Jl Jenderal Sudirman, and around the Ring Road.
